Mermaid Mountain

My son went through a huge mermaid phase and all he wanted for Christmas last year was a mermaid castle. Unless you want Arielle or My Little Pony, there's not much out there. I agree that this is not worth the price, but was grateful to grandma for picking up the tab. My son has enjoyed playing with it, but he mostly just uses the dolls. One issue I have not seen mentioned is that the tails come off very easily. I think they have been off for most of the time we've had them (just found two under the bed and who knows how long they've been there!) The hair is also a tangled mess, which does not bother him, but I just wish I had a little shell comb to fix it! Overall an enjoyable toy for a 3-4 year old boy, but wish I could have found something better. Maybe I need to start my own company.
