I teach a kindergarten class, and I love using these blocks. I have the kids bring in pictures of them and their family and pets, and they create their own personalized block. After everyone does that, we just have fun building different structures with the blocks. The kids love it, and they get a positive feeling of ownership when they see their block in the structure.
