Every once in a while, a story comes along that really touches our hearts.
Debby Elnatan, a mother of a child with cerebral palsy, has recently created a device that totally changed the way she could interact with her son. The Upsee assists children that have handicaps so they are able to actually walk with their parents. The Upsee features a hip belt for an adult to wear, a harness for the child, and sandals for both to put their feet in. When fully strapped in, the parent and child are able to walk together.
As Debby says, “The Upsee means so much to us as a family, it’s given us the opportunity to do things that we would never have the chance to do.”
