Here is our collection of classroom activities that are perfect for bringing winter inside.

Insta-Snow in a Jar: This realistic looking snow feels cold to the touch and is a perfect addition to a sensory table. Students will delight in the texture and temperature.

Learning About Winter Solstice: Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year. Celebrate the days growing longer with a festival of light or enjoy a feast of winter foods. Using a light bulb and a globe, demonstrate how the Earth turns and the seasons are created. 

Read Seasonal Stores: Invite the children to listen to some wonderful seasonal works. Some of our favorites include: The Mitten, The Snowy Day and Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear?
